Reid Anderson
ACAC/ASHI/CREIA
Reid has been in the construction/inspection business for over 32 years. In 1986, he began his construction career as a laborer/carpenter on a building tract in North San Diego County. From pouring the foundation to installing the finish trim, Reid gained critical experience in structures. As a licensed Contractor, he built room additions, large custom homes, and fire restoration work on commercial buildings.
In 1996, Reid got his start inspecting properties in Orange County, California. Known for his wealth of knowledge in structures/systems and professionalism, he has conducted over 8,000 inspections. His construction experience gives him a unique perspective and insight compared to inspectors who have limited or no construction experience
Looking to expand his services, Reid achieved Council-certified Structural Mold Investigator credentials from the American Council for Certification (ACAC) and has been trained with mold detector pioneer, Jack Clausen, of JLC Inspections.
Reid has served on the Orange County Chapter of CREIA (California Real Estate Inspection Association) board for three years. He has also taught seminars for this Chapter and for prior inspection company employers on construction topics.
Buying a house in Orange County / Southern California is a major financial commitment. Reid wants his clients to have the best and most relevant information when making this decision. He makes himself available by phone for any questions his clients have about their home for as long as they own the property.
